- What does AI video extend do on Reeldo?
- It adds new seconds at the end while keeping the same scene. Veo and Runway Gen-4 Turbo use native extend (full merged video). Omni clips use Gemini Omni continuation. Uploads and other models use cross-model extend — style may shift slightly.
- When do I get native extend?
- When you extend from Studio with Extend clip → and the source was generated with Veo or Runway Gen-4 Turbo. Reeldo passes the provider taskId for seamless merged output. Veo 1080p clips fall back to cross-model extend.
- Why can't I pick seconds or resolution?
- Native extend inherits duration, resolution, and aspect ratio from your source clip (~8s for Veo, ~10s for Runway). Only Omni and cross-model paths let you choose +4/6/8/10 seconds and 720p/1080p.
- Extend vs video to video — which do I need?
- Use Extend when you want more seconds of the same shot. Use Video to Video when you want to restyle or edit while keeping motion.
- Extend vs upscale?
- Extend adds time. Upscale adds resolution. Run Extend first if you need length, then Upscale before delivery.
- What should I write in the continuation prompt?
- Only what happens next — complete the current action or continue the camera move. Do not re-paste your original scene description.
- How many times can I extend the same clip?
- You can chain up to three extensions, but quality often drifts after two passes. Review each seam before continuing.
- What are the limits?
- Source clips up to 30 seconds. Omni and cross-model: +4, +6, +8, or +10 seconds per run. Veo native adds ~8s; Runway native adds ~10s — settings inherited from the source.
