Seedance 2 AI Video Generator

Cheap 4–15 second clips on Fast. Lock one camera move or a start-and-end frame, then move to Pro for 1080p/4K — or Seedance 2.5 for a 20–30 second take.

  • 4–15s single shots

One camera move or one end frame — not a multi-cut timeline

  • Fast first, Pro after

Prove the motion on Fast. Pro is the same 15s cap at 1080p or 4K

  • 9 / 3 / 3 refs

Images, videos, audio — write one job per file in the prompt

Reeldo is not the official ByteDance Seedance website.

Create a Seedance 2 clip

Fast is selected. Credits show on the button before you run.

The still is frame one. Add an end frame only when the last pose is already decided.

See Example 1 & 2 below

Model

480p or 720p drafts. Stay here until the motion holds.

Multimodal references, cinematic motion, and built-in audio in one generation.

Seedance 2 image to video, reference, or start frame

A reference image is not frame one unless you say so. A reference video rebuilds motion — it does not keep the source pixels.

Do not confuse @video1 with editing an MP4

@video1 reference

Camera or pacing only. Lock who appears with @image1. Trim the clip to the 2–3 seconds you actually need — those seconds are billed.

Video to Video / Extend

You already have an MP4. Extend continues from the last frame. Video to Video patches a stretch inside that file.

Seedance 2 image to video and start-end frame examples

Two Reeldo Fast runs — copy the prompt or send it to the generator above.

Example 01 / 02

Recorded Fast run — inputs and prompt match this output.

Black earbud case used as the Seedance 2 start frame

Start frame

Output

Image to video: 5s product push-in

Scenario
You have one packshot and need to know if a push-in is worth a longer render.
Result
The earbuds and case stay recognizable while the camera moves once.
Settings

Prompt template

Use the earbud photo as frame one. Keep the black case, both earbuds, and the green indicator lights unchanged. One slow push-in over 5 seconds, soft daylight, no extra products. No on-screen text. No hard cuts.

Example 02 / 02

Recorded Fast run — inputs and prompt match this output.

Closed olive bottle with a gold cap, used as frame one

Start frame

Open olive bottle with the gold cap beside it, used as the end frame

End frame

Output

Start and end frame: cap comes off

Scenario
You already have the closed bottle and the open bottle. The clip only has to travel between them.
Result
One move: the gold cap comes off and rests beside the bottle.
Settings

Prompt template

Frame one is the closed olive bottle with the gold cap on. The last frame is the open bottle with the cap lying beside it. Travel only between those two stills. No on-screen text. One continuous move.

Seedance 2 credits: Fast vs Pro

A No reference video: you pay for the output seconds only.

B With a reference video, reference seconds are added. 3s of camera reference + 10s Fast at 720p = 68 credits.

Cards use the same calculator as Generate. Failed jobs refund credits on Reeldo.

Yearly plans lower your cost per clip on Reeldo

Yearly billing grants 12× monthly credits at about 10× the monthly price (~2 months free). On Max, yearly is about $0.024/credit vs $0.029 on monthly (~17% lower per credit). One-time packs (Popular) run about $0.045/credit — ~48% higher than Max yearly. ~USD above uses Max yearly; monthly subs or packs increase the dollar amount.

See plans and credit packs →

Fast is 480p or 720p. Pro adds 1080p and 4K. Fast and Pro stop at 15 seconds. 20 and 30 second outputs are Seedance 2.5.

The generator button is the price you pay. ~USD uses Max yearly.

Seedance 2 prompt fixes when the clip morphs

Seedance 2 morphs when a file has no job, or when one 15s clip is asked to be several shots.

Face, clothes, or product morphed

The reference was uploaded with no role, or one clip tried to cover several shots.

Write @image1 is the only person, or say the photo is frame one. Drop unused files. Generate 4–5s per shot and cut them yourself.

The storyboard sheet is animating

The whole board was used as frame one.

Keep the board for yourself. Upload one panel, and describe only that beat.

Output looks like the reference video

The video reference and the style image were given the same job.

@video1 = camera path only. @image2 = style. Say do not copy people, rooms, or wardrobe from @video1.

Dialogue and story beats slipped

Several scenes plus speech were packed into one 15s generation.

One action per clip. Spoken close-ups belong on Veo, not in this 15s take.

Pattern A — one camera move (Example 1)

Start frame = the product photo.
One slow push-in.
No on-screen text. No second shot.

Pattern B — reference video, your subject

@image1 is the only person or product.
@video1 is 2–3 seconds of camera only.
Do not copy people, rooms, or wardrobe from @video1.
Five habits that stop a wasted rerun
  1. 1. One job per file

@image1 as frame one, or @image1 is the character. @video1 is camera only. Unnamed files get guessed.

  2. 2. One beat per generation

A storyboard is a plan, not an input. Render each panel, then edit the cuts together.

  3. 3. Trim reference video to 2–3s

You pay for those seconds plus the output. A 15s clip uploaded for 3s of camera move is extra cost.

  4. 4. One variable per retry

Change a single line and rerun 5s on Fast. Do not add more references to stabilize a drift.

  5. 5. No character memory

There is no seed and no saved character. Upload the same reference on the next clip and name it again.

After the Seedance 2 MP4: Pro, edit, or a new 5s

Option 1

Fast motion is right and you need it sharper

Rerun the same prompt on Pro at 1080p or 4K

Do this after the 5s proof, not before.

Option 2

One stretch fails and the rest of the file is usable

Video to Video with a time range

If the edit barely changes, rebuild that stretch as a new Fast clip.

Option 3

Wrong subject from frame one

New 5s Fast run with the still set as frame one

A longer rerun will not repair a bad opening frame.

After export

  1. Check the last second

Product, face, and end pose — before you upscale.

  2. Upscale only an approved motion

Do not upscale a draft you will regenerate.

  3. Another pass on the same balance

Open Video Studio. Seedance 2 still caps at 15s.
